.....if they unlike "Bohemian Rhapsody" stuck to the facts. Why? 1- a. Grace Slick almost dies while driving drunk, crashing her car speeding on the Golden Gate Bridge. 1 - b. Her house burns down losing almost everything. 2. Multiple dysfunctional relationships. 3. Spoiled rich girl turned model changes her career forming a rock and roll band. 4. Leaves garage group for a bigger band. 5. Becomes a big rock star that she doesn't really embrace. 6. Totally drunk, out of mind monologue rips into a German audience on stage about World War II. 7. Sex, drugs and rock and roll through out. 8. Walks away from everything turning to art work. 9. Messy relationship with her biological family. 10. Grace's view on Woodstock, Monterey Pop, Altamont, womens lib and her numerous arrests...........As a book though, very sloppy jumping around in no real order. How she is still alive is pure luck after holding a shotgun while dealing with four policemen. For entertainment reading 3.5 stars. Lots of photos. Would potentially rival the Doors and Janis Joplin flicks, if the right people decided to take on a movie sticking to just the facts according to this book.
